SPOKANE- A health warning is out this afternoon after due to a case of viral meningitis. An employee of the Spokane Teachers Credit Union is hospitalized.

The employee tested positive this week for viral meningitis.

The Center for Disease Control says the risk of contracting the virus is small. However anyone who feels ill should contact a doctor. Symptoms include headache, stiff neck, and fever.

The employee worked at the STCU Cheney Branch from April 27th -May 1st. The same employee worked at the Main Branch from may 6th-May 7th.
