Daryl Romeyn is the weekend weather anchor for KREM 2 News.
Daryl grew up in Detroit and after graduating from the University of Michigan promptly piled everything in his truck and headed west to pursue his true love - exploring the wild mountain backcountry.
His first TV job was in Medford, Oregon but the big news there was the acquisition of a donkey to pal around with and to help carry his gear in the bush. Other TV jobs landed him in Sheridan, Wyoming and Yakima before moving on to Spokane. He's been here 18 years now.
Daryl says he loves gardening and has planted a giant patch of asparagus and a small orchard featuring rainier cherries in the Spokane Valley.
When he's not in the yard or at work forecasting the weather on KREM 2 he's up in the hills.
