Dawn Picken co-anchors the KREM 2 News First Edition, weekday mornings from 5:00 to 7:00 a.m. Dawn's assignments include KREM 2 News "2 On Your Side" consumer reports. She joined the KREM 2 News team in October 1999.

Before joining KREM 2, Dawn worked as a freelance anchor at NorthWest Cable News. She chose to leave the Seattle rain behind and move to Spokane. Dawn also held positions as an award-winning reporter at WOOD-TV in Grand Rapids, Michigan and WICS-TV in Springfield, Illinois.

Dawn is currently enjoying her new role as mother to her baby girl. When she's not shopping for the best deals or researching products, Dawn enjoys spending time with her husband Sean, running, skiing, and playing with her dog. She volunteers as a book-reader and has taught public speaking at Eastern Washington University.
