Meteorologist Jason Kadah brings more than 10 years of experience to KREM 2 NEWS First Edition and KREM 2 NEWS at Noon. Prior to his arrival in June 2008, Jason worked for television stations in Texas, Florida, and most recently, Little Rock, AR. Originally from San Jose, CA, he holds a degree in Aeronautics from San Jose State University and is a licensed pilot. He also completed the Broadcast Meteorology program at Mississippi State University and carries the National Weather Association's Seal of Approval.

Jason is a huge sports fan and has followed football's San Diego Chargers since the early '80s. He also enjoys watching and playing hockey and roots for the San Jose Sharks. Jason enjoys all types of music, but Neil Diamond and George Strait are his long-time favorites.

It's a homecoming of sorts for Jason and his wife, Katrina, who is originally from Wenatchee and has family spread out across the Okanogan and Methow Valleys. They are both excited to be "back" in Eastern Washington!
