Rochelle Ritchie joined KREM 2 NEWS as a general assingment reporter in April 2007. Her career has taken her from the Bluegrass State of Kentucky, to Tornado Valley in Oklahoma. Before coming to KREM Rochelle worked as a reporter in Southwest Oklahoma. She started her career as an editor in what she calls her "second hometown" of Lexington, KY at LEX18.

Rochelle Ritchie

Originally from Chicago, Rochelle attributes much of her success to her mother Dr. Rosalind Ritchie-Dabney. She graduated from Western Kentucky University where she majored in Broadcast News with a minor in Political Science. While in college Rochelle studied abroad in eastern Europe and Asia where she visited the Czech Republic, Austria, Slovakia, Poland, Hungary, Amsterdam and Russia and later interned in Washington D.C.

When Rochelle is not working she enjoys going to Broadway musicals and traveling. She is looking forward to seeing what Spokane has to offer and though she is a big University of Kentucky basketball fan (GO CATS!) she says she plans to attend a few Gonzaga basketball games.
